Belvoir franchisees supporting NHS workers in their area

Belvoir’s franchisees are keen to support communities in their local area by coming up with new ideas to help NHS staff who are fighting the coronavirus pandemic in their locality.

“The enthusiasm of Belvoir’s franchisees and their determination to help their local communities during this crisis has been incredible,” says Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves. “These are very challenging times, and although Belvoir’s High Street offices are currently closed due to the government lockdown, the teams from these offices are busy working from home and coming up with some fantastic ideas to support and help those NHS and key workers.

“John and Sue Warburton, owners of the Belvoir Leamington Spa office and Gregg Greatbatch and Phil Pinkney from Belvoir Andover were keen to pay tribute to the heroic actions of NHS staff in their areas and are doing so by offering free post-lockdown house sales to the first five local NHS workers to apply to each office. Over in the Wirral, Steve Molloy is offering the chance for an NHS staff member in the Wirral area to use one of his company cars for the foreseeable future, which will be much appreciated as an alternative to using public transport. Throughout the network we are hearing of many Belvoir offices supporting and sponsoring local good causes such as Captain Tom on his marathon NHS fundraising walk.

“Belvoir’s franchisees have also noticed in recent weeks that with so many tenants and their families working from home and remaining in their properties for much longer periods than normal, there has been a rise in the reporting of maintenance issues, with appliances such as fridges, freezers, ovens etc being used much more than ever before. Every Belvoir office is working tirelessly to deal with any problems and ensure that essential emergency work is carried out as quickly and effectively as possible by their teams of trusted and professional contractors, whilst adhering to all of the government’s guidelines for health and safety.”
