Our experience means we can guide you around the pitfalls of commercial leasing, and offer ongoing advice that will prove invaluable over the years.

Training team

Our training program begins with an intensive induction and carries on with regular courses – 42 courses on 24 subjects, in fact – held throughout the year at our central office and regional locations. You can also take part in webinars and online courses. This allows you to continuously increase your knowledge, gain practical skills and receive the tools you need to make the best of your sales and lettings business.

Franchise recruitment

The franchise recruitment team is your first point of contact when considering a franchise opportunity with the Belvoir Group. They will lead you through the process, including creating your business plan, getting finance agreed and finding a suitable business premise.

IT

Our central IT team constantly monitors the market to ensure our services remain both beneficial and cost-effective. They’ll support you with your own microsite, allowing you to promote your business online, and they’ll handle the set-up of your email systems. They are on-hand for any IT advice that you need.

Finance

You will liaise with our central finance team when providing your management service fee return and paying the monthly fee. If you have ambitions to expand your territory, they’ll work with you to make it happen – and in some circumstances may be able to help with financing your expansion plans.

Assisted acquisition programme

Any franchisees with growth ambitions are invited to join our Assisted Acquisitions programme. Our team carries out research to find the right opportunities, and will conduct evaluations, terms negotiation, due diligence, as well as assisting in the legal process. The Belvoir Group will also assist with financing matters, and we could offer up to 30% investment towards your new opportunity. As always, there will be further support from your Business Development Mentors to help make the transition smooth.

Marketing

Part of running a successful business is being able to effectively market it. Our central marketing team ensures that the Belvoir, Newton Fallowell, Northwood, Lovelle or Nicholas Humphrey’s brands are exciting and relevant to all target audiences, delivering persuasive messages that help convert to sales. We’ll give you compelling design templates for everything from press adverts to sales brochures. We also take care of national brand awareness, and have recently placed adverts on ITV Hub.

Leadership

The central leadership team focuses on the development of the Belvoir Group as a whole, so as a company we can grow year on year.

Audit and compliance

The Belvoir Group is a trusted, national brand, and we must ensure standards remain high. That’s why we audit your business regularly to check compliance and give it a general health check.

Initial support team

After your rental software system to handle client monies is installed, you will be given support and guidance to ensure you are able to trade effectively. We will support you in the first three months as you deal with and reconcile client monies until you are fully confident and autonomous.

Audit visits

Our audit team will visit annually, checking compliance in a number of areas including: client account procedure, deposit balancing, EPCs, gas safety checks, tenancy agreements, terms of business, redress membership schemes for example.

You never feel alone, and that’s not just having the support of head office, but also the other franchisees in the ‘patch’ and further afield as well.
